Daggubati Purandeswari (born 18 June 1959) is an Indian politician and former minister who has served in both the Union Government of India and the state legislature of Andhra Pradesh. She is a member of the Daggubati family, a prominent political and cinematic lineage in the state, and is the daughter of N. T. Rama Rao, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and noted film actor.
Early life and education
Purandeswari was born in Hyderabad, then part of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). She completed her schooling in Hyderabad and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Delhi. She later pursued a Master's degree in political science from the University of Mysore.
Political career
