Daeqwon Plowden

Daeqwon Plowden (born August 15, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for [[BC Nokia]] of the [[Korisliiga]]. He plays at the small forward position.

College Career

Plowden played college basketball for the [[Bowling Green Falcons]] for four seasons (2018–2022). Throughout his career at Bowling Green, he established himself as a versatile player known for his athleticism, scoring ability, and defensive presence. In his senior season (2021–2022), he averaged 16.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. His collegiate accolades include:

  • Second-team All-MAC (2021)
  • MAC All-Defensive Team (2022)

Professional Career

Greensboro Swarm (2022)

After going undrafted in the 2022 [[NBA draft]], Plowden joined the [[Charlotte Hornets]] for the [[2022 NBA Summer League]]. He later signed with the [[Greensboro Swarm]], the Hornets' affiliate in the [[NBA G League]], for the 2022–2023 season.

Limburg United (2022–2023)

In December 2022, Plowden moved to Europe, signing with [[Limburg United]] in the [[BNXT League]], which comprises teams from Belgium and the Netherlands. He played a key role for the team for the remainder of the season.

KK Split (2023–2024)

For the 2023–2024 season, Plowden signed with [[KK Split]], a prominent club in the [[Croatian Basketball League]] and the [[ABA League]]. He continued to showcase his defensive skills and offensive contributions.

BC Nokia (2024–present)

In 2024, Plowden transferred to [[BC Nokia]] in the Finnish [[Korisliiga]], where he currently plays.
