Curt Clawson

Curt Clawson (born March 14, 1967) is an American businessman and former politician who served as the Republican U.S. Representative for Florida's 19th congressional district from 2014 to 2017. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, a former United States Navy SEAL, and has held executive positions in the private sector, notably with AccuWeather.

Early life and education
Curt Clawson was born in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard College in 1989 and later received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1993.

Military service
Following his undergraduate education, Clawson joined the United States Navy, serving as a SEAL officer from 1990 to 1999. He attained the rank of lieutenant commander before separating from active duty.
