Cuaba Nzoji (also spelled Kiwaba Nzoji, Kiuaba Nzoji, or Cuaba Anzoji) is a town and municipality in Malanje Province, north-central Angola.
Geography
The municipality is located approximately 86 km northeast of the provincial capital, Malanje, along national road No. 323. It covers an area of 3,028 square kilometers.
Administrative Status
Cuaba Nzoji is one of the municipalities that make up Malanje Province. It is bordered to the north by the municipality of Caombo, to the east by the municipalities of Cambo Suinginge, Quela, and Muquixe, to the south by the municipalities of Muquixe, Angola-Luíje, and Calandula, and to the west by the municipality of Calandula.
Demographics
According to the 2014 national census, the municipality had a population of 15,880 inhabitants, giving it a population density of approximately 5.2 inhabitants per square kilometer. Projections for 2024 estimated the population at 21,139 (10,629 male and 10,510 female).
