Cristian Brandi (born 7 April 1970) is an Italian former professional tennis player who competed primarily in doubles events. Turning professional in 1991, Brandi achieved a career‑high ATP doubles ranking of No. 30 on 28 September 1998. Over the course of his career, he won four ATP Tour doubles titles and reached the semifinals of the 1998 French Open men’s doubles.
Born in Vercelli, Italy, Brandi played right‑handed with a two‑handed backhand. He retired from active competition in 2008 and later worked as a tennis coach and commentator. His career prize money totaled approximately US$ 1.4 million.
Brandi’s most notable Grand Slam performance came at the 1998 French Open, where, partnering with fellow Italian partner Diego Nargiso, he advanced to the semifinals before losing to the eventual champions. He also represented Italy in the Davis Cup, contributing to the team’s efforts in the late 1990s.
Since retiring, Brandi has remained involved in the sport, providing analysis for Italian television broadcasts and participating in charitable tennis exhibitions.
