The company developed, marketed, and operated the Crew app, a platform that connected individuals with freelance graphic designers, illustrators, and software developers. Freelancers on the Crew platform completed projects for companies including Dropbox, Medium, Tinder, Eventbrite, and IDEO.
In addition to its freelancer marketplace, Crew operated Unsplash, a photography website where users could submit copyright-free photography. As of 2016, over 40,000 photographers had submitted original photos to Unsplash.
