Crambus vagistrigellus is a species of moth in the family Crambidae (commonly known as grass moths). It was described by the French entomologist Joseph de Joannis in 1913.

Distribution
The species is known exclusively from its type locality in Adi Caiè, Eritrea (East Africa). Adults were collected in July 1902 by the collector A. Andreini.
Description
As a member of the genus Crambus, it is a small to medium-sized moth with a slender body and narrow wings that are held tightly rolled around the body when at rest. Specific morphological characteristics of C. vagistrigellus have not been widely documented in the literature.
