Corey Clement

Corey Clement (born July 17, 1994) is an American professional football player who plays as a running back. He has been a member of multiple National Football League (NFL) teams, most notably the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants. Clement played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he contributed to the Badgers' offensive backfield and earned All‑Big Ten honors.

Early life and education
Corey Clement was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Glenville High School, where he excelled in both football and track and field. As a high school running back, Clement amassed over 2,000 rushing yards and earned All‑Ohio recognition. He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2012 and redshirted his freshman season.

College career
Clement played for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2013 to 2016. Over his collegiate tenure, he recorded 2,423 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on 448 carries, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. He also contributed as a receiver, adding 887 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. In his senior year (2016), Clement rushed for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning Second‑team All‑Big Ten honors. He participated in the 2017 East–West Shrine Game, showcasing his abilities to NFL scouts.

Professional career

Philadelphia Eagles
Clement was selected in the fifth round (168th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. During his rookie season, he served primarily as a backup and special‑teams player, appearing in 11 games and recording 12 carries for 39 yards. He was part of the Eagles' roster that won Super Bowl LII, although he was inactive for the championship game.

New York Giants
In August 2018, Clement was traded to the New York Giants in exchange for defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan. He appeared in 13 games for the Giants during the 2018 season, logging 28 carries for 150 rushing yards and one touchdown, along with 10 receptions for 73 yards.

Subsequent teams
Following his stint with the Giants, Clement signed short‑term contracts with the New York Jets (practice squad, 2019) and the Chicago Bears (2020), though he did not appear in regular‑season games for either organization.
