Constantin Schreiber (born 20 April 1979) is a German journalist, author, and foreign correspondent, known for his coverage of Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
Early life and education
Schreiber was born in Berlin, Germany. He studied journalism and Slavic studies at the Free University of Berlin, graduating with a Magister degree in 2003.
Career
After completing his studies, Schreiber began working for German media outlets, including Die Zeit and the public broadcaster ARD. In 2006 he joined the editorial staff of the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung as a reporter, later becoming its Moscow correspondent. His reporting has focused on political, social, and cultural developments in Russia, Ukraine, and the broader post‑Soviet space.
Schreiber has also contributed to television programs on the German network ZDF and has appeared as an analyst on international affairs in various forums.
