Connor James Ruane (born 15 November 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a full back (left-back) for Spanish Segunda Federación club Jaén.
Early and Personal Life
Ruane was born in Manchester, England, and moved from Warrington to Spain when he was 9 years old.
Club Career
Ruane began his youth career at Everton before moving into senior football in Spain. He played for Constància, Mallorca B, Hércules, La Roda (on loan), and FC Jumilla in the Spanish third tier.
In August 2019, Ruane moved to Finland, signing with FC Inter Turku in the Veikkausliiga. His contract was extended for the 2020 season. In January 2021, he joined Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Bulgarian First League. He returned to Spain in January 2022, signing with Linense. He subsequently played for Talavera de la Reina (2023–2024), returned to Linense (2024–2025), and joined Jaén in 2025.

Ruane primarily plays as a left-back (full back) and is left-footed. He stands 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) tall.
