Collingwood Cove is an unincorporated hamlet in Strathcona County, Alberta, Canada. Situated on the north shore of the North Saskatchewan River, the community lies approximately 20 kilometres east of the city of Edmonton and is part of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region.

Geography
Collingwood Cove occupies a residential subdivision adjacent to the river, bounded to the south by the river’s shoreline and to the north by rural farmland. The hamlet is accessed primarily via Highway 21, which runs east‑west just south of the community.

As an unincorporated area, Collingwood Cove does not have its own municipal government. It is administered directly by Strathcona County Council, with local matters represented by the councillor for the electoral ward that includes the hamlet.

Development of Collingwood Cove began in the early 1970s as a planned residential subdivision catering to families seeking a suburban environment near the river. The name “Collingwood” is believed to be derived from a historic British naval figure or from the town of Collingwood, Ontario, though official documentation of the naming origin is limited.

Utility services, including water, sewage, and waste management, are provided by Strathcona County. The hamlet is within the Edmonton Region’s fire‑protective services district and is served by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachment in Sherwood Park for policing.
