Collège Stanislas (Québec) is a private French-language educational institution located in Quebec City, Canada. It is one of two campuses of Collège Stanislas in Quebec, the other being in Outremont (Montreal). The school offers preschool, primary, and secondary education (up to seconde, equivalent to Secondary 5 in the Quebec system) following the French national curriculum, and is accredited by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), a branch of the French Ministry of Education.
Overview
The Quebec City campus is situated at 1605 chemin Sainte-Foy, in the Saint-Sacrement neighbourhood of the La Cité-Limoilou borough. It occupies the building that formerly housed the Collège Notre-Dame-de-Bellevue. As of the 2014–2015 school year, the campus enrolled approximately 450 students from preschool (age 3) through seconde (age 16). The school prepares students for both the French Baccalaureate and the Quebec system (CEGEP), in partnership with the Quebec Ministry of Education (MEES). It is the only institution in Quebec that delivers the French Baccalaureate upon completion of terminale, which exempts students from the French language test for university admission.
History
The Collège Stanislas network in Quebec traces its origins to 1938, when the school was founded in Outremont by Raoul Dandurand and other prominent French Canadians as a Roman Catholic subsidiary of the renowned Collège Stanislas de Paris in France. The Quebec City campus was established later, in 1989, as an extension of the Montreal institution.
Curriculum
The school offers a dual curriculum that combines the French national education system with Quebec-specific requirements:
- Preschool (Maternelle): Petite section to Grande section (ages 3–5)
- Elementary (Élémentaire): CP to CM2 (ages 6–10, equivalent to Grades 1–6)
- Secondary (Secondaire): 6ème to Seconde (ages 11–16, equivalent to Secondary 1–5)
Upon completion of seconde générale, students who are admitted to première receive equivalence to the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (DES). The school is the only institution in Quebec authorized to deliver the French Baccalaureate at the end of terminale.

The Quebec City campus is located in a peaceful, green setting in the Sainte-Foy corridor. Facilities support a range of extracurricular activities including competitive and recreational sports, arts and culture, music (Petit Conservatoire), and technology/multimedia programs.
