Colin Nicholson (cricketer)

Colin Nicholson (born 15 October 1936) is a former English first-class cricketer.

Nicholson was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He played most of his cricket for Cambridge University, making his first-class debut for them against Leicestershire in 1957. He represented the University in 17 first-class matches, the last of which came against Oxford University in 1959. In his 17 first-class matches, he scored 551 runs at an average of 20.40, with a high score of 73. With the ball, he took 21 wickets at a bowling average of 43.00, with best figures of 3/32.

Nicholson also played a single first-class match for the Free Foresters against Oxford University in 1958. He did not score any runs in either innings of that match, and took no wickets.
