Description
Codringtonia gittenbergeri is a terrestrial, air‑breathing land snail (pulmonate gastropod). Like other members of the genus Codringtonia, it possesses a helicoid shell with several whorls and a relatively thin, translucent periostracum. Distribution and Habitat
The species is endemic to Greece. Ecology

Etymology
The specific epithet “gittenbergeri” honors Dutch malacologist Edwin Gittenberger, recognized for his contributions to the taxonomy and systematics of European land snails.
