Christian Gentner (born 14 August 1985) is a German former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. Known for his leadership, tireless work rate, and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively, he spent the majority of his career in the [[Bundesliga]], most notably with [[VfB Stuttgart]] and [[VfL Wolfsburg]].
Club Career
Gentner began his youth career at TSV Beuren and TSV Owen before joining the youth academy of [[VfB Stuttgart]] in 1999.VfB Stuttgart (First Stint)
