Christian Falk

Christian Falk (3 January 1960 – 24 July 2015) was a Swedish musician, record producer, and DJ known for his contributions to pop, hip‑hop, and electronic dance music from the 1980s through the early 2010s.

Early life and career
Falk was born in Malmö, Sweden. He began his musical work in the early 1980s as a bassist and guitarist in various Swedish pop and rock groups, later shifting focus to production and remixing.

Production and collaborations
During the 1990s and 2000s Falk established a reputation as a versatile producer. He worked with a range of Swedish artists, most notably:

  • Robyn – co‑produced tracks on her early releases.
  • The Cardigans – contributed production and instrumentation on selected recordings.
  • Papa Dee – produced and co‑wrote material for the Swedish hip‑hop artist.

In addition to his collaborative work, Falk released solo material, including the 2001 album The Sound of a Million Bells, which featured a blend of house, soul, and pop influences.

Style and influence
