Chris Stafford (born December 14, 1977) is an American actor best known for his roles in daytime television. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Corey Evans on the NBC soap opera Sunset Beach from 1997 to 1999, and later for playing Michael Corinthos III on the ABC soap opera General Hospital from 2006 to 2007.
Early Life and Career
Born in the United States, Chris Stafford began his acting career in the late 1990s. His breakthrough role came with Sunset Beach, a new daytime drama from legendary producer Aaron Spelling. As Corey Evans, Stafford was part of several key storylines during the show's run, which helped establish him as a young talent in the soap opera world.Later Career
After Sunset Beach concluded in 1999, Stafford continued to work in television, appearing in various projects. He had a recurring role in the MTV series Undressed, which explored the relationships and sexual encounters of young adults.In 2006, Stafford joined the cast of the long-running soap opera General Hospital as the adult Michael Corinthos III, the son of prominent characters Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos. He played the role for over a year before his departure in 2007, when the character was recast.
Stafford also made a brief appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2006, playing a character named Michael, though this was separate from his General Hospital role.
