Chris Kerr (footballer)

Chris Kerr is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Kerr is best known for his long tenure with Cliftonville Football Club in the Irish Premiership, where he served as captain and made a significant number of appearances. He joined Cliftonville from Donegal Celtic in 2008 and remained with the club until his retirement.

During his time at Cliftonville, Kerr was part of several successful teams, winning the Irish Premiership title, Irish League Cup, and County Antrim Shield. He was recognized for his shot-stopping ability, leadership qualities, and commitment to the club.

While Kerr was a consistent performer at club level, he did not receive any senior international caps for Northern Ireland.

After retiring from playing, Kerr has remained involved in football, taking on coaching roles.
