Chet, Floyd & Boots is a studio album by American guitarist Chet Atkins, pianist Floyd Cramer, and saxophone player Boots Randolph, released in 1971 on RCA Camden, RCA's budget label.
The album is a collaborative effort among three prominent Nashville session musicians. Boots Randolph was known for his novelty hit "Yakety Sax," which Chet Atkins later covered on guitar as "Yakety Axe" — also a hit. Floyd Cramer was a regular session pianist in Nashville, playing with numerous artists including Elvis Presley and Brenda Lee, and helped define the "Nashville Sound" that Atkins had also helped develop. The trio briefly toured together.
The album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by Ethel Gabriel. It was later reissued on the Pickwick label and re-released on compact disc in 1992 on RCA Camden.
