Chen Jie (Chinese: 陈杰; pinyin: Chén Jié; born 21 October 1989) is a Chinese professional footballer who primarily plays as a defensive midfielder. He is known for his robust tackling, work rate, and ability to break up opposition attacks.

Club Career: Chen Jie began his professional career with Shenzhen Ruby (later Shenzhen FC), where he progressed through their youth system and made his senior debut. He spent several seasons with Shenzhen, becoming a regular starter.
In 2015, he transferred to Chongqing Lifan (later Chongqing Dangdai Lifan) where he established himself as a key player and often served as the team captain. During his tenure at Chongqing, he was a consistent presence in the Chinese Super League midfield, known for his leadership and defensive solidity.
In 2021, Chen Jie joined Wuhan Three Towns. He was an integral part of the squad that achieved promotion to the Chinese Super League in 2021 and subsequently won the 2022 Chinese Super League title in their debut season in the top flight, a significant milestone in his career.
He returned to Shenzhen FC for a brief spell in 2023 before the club's dissolution at the end of the year.
International Career: Chen Jie earned his first call-up to the China national football team in 2016 and made his international debut in a World Cup qualifier. He has represented his country in various friendly matches and competitive fixtures.
