Charlie Dawes (born 13 September 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Worksop Town.
Early career
Born in Chesterfield, England, Dawes began his career in the youth system at Sheffield Wednesday. He left Sheffield Wednesday to sign his first professional contract, a one-year deal, with Chesterfield.
Professional career
Dawes made his professional debut and first start for Chesterfield on 2 September 2014 in a 2–0 Football League Trophy defeat against Scunthorpe United, playing 74 minutes before being replaced by Jake Beesley. During the 2014–15 season, he spent time in the club's reserve team and was loaned out twice to gain first-team experience.
He joined Matlock Town on loan on 7 November 2014, a spell that was later extended for another month. After finishing his loan at Matlock Town, Dawes was loaned to Stalybridge Celtic for another month, during which he made just one appearance before returning to his parent club.
On 17 May 2015, Dawes was released by Chesterfield after spending one season at the club. Following his release, he played in non-league football for Matlock Town, Sheffield, and Worksop Town.
Career statistics
As of his match played on 2 September 2014, Dawes made one senior appearance for Chesterfield (in the Football League Trophy), recording no goals. His league appearances for the club were limited to the reserve team.

The name "Charlie Dawes" is also associated with other individuals, including a pastor and author of Simple Prayer who leads Hill City Church in Alexandria, Virginia, and a makeup department professional known for work on Money Kills (2012) and Arthur's Lore (2009). The name is distinct from Charles G. Dawes (1865–1951), the 30th Vice President of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, who is more commonly referred to as "Charles Dawes."
