Charles Ward (cricketer, born 1838)

Charles Ward (1838 – date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Kent County Cricket Club between 1863 and 1865.

Ward was born in Bexley, Kent, and made his first-class debut for Kent against Sussex at Tunbridge Wells in August 1863. He played in a total of 10 first-class matches for the county, primarily as a batsman. He scored a total of 167 runs with a highest score of 43, made against Surrey at The Oval in 1864.

Little is known of his life outside of cricket. His date of death is currently unrecorded.
