Charl Timotheus

Charl Timotheus (born 18 February 1982) is a South African politician and a member of the National Assembly of South Africa, representing the Democratic Alliance (DA) party.

Biography Timotheus was first elected to the National Assembly in the 2019 South African general election, where he represented the Western Cape Province on the Democratic Alliance's regional list. During his first term in parliament (2019-2024), he served as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, playing an oversight role over the relevant government department.

He was re-elected for a second term in the 2024 general election, continuing his representation of the Western Cape for the Democratic Alliance.
