Cercoptera sanguinicollis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae (longhorn beetles). It was originally described by French entomologist Pierre-Émile Gounelle in 1911 as Cercoptera banoni var. sanguinicollis, and later elevated to full species status by Viana in 1971.

Description and Distribution
The species was described based on a single female specimen from Goiás, Brazil. Its known distribution includes the Brazilian states of Goiás, Minas Gerais, and Mato Grosso do Sul. The specific epithet sanguinicollis is derived from Latin (sanguis = blood, collis = neck), likely referring to a red or blood-colored marking on the pronotum (the neck-like segment behind the head), a characteristic common among members of the genus Cercoptera.
Type Specimen
The holotype (female) is deposited at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) in Paris, France, with the collection locality recorded as Jataí, Goiás, Brazil. Additional specimens are held at the Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo (MZSP), Brazil.
