Casey Burgener (born June 10 1982) is an American former weightlifter who competed in the super‑heavyweight (+105 kg) division. He represented the United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he placed 15th overall. Burgener began weightlifting while serving in the United States Army and was a member of the Army World Class Athlete Program. He has won multiple titles at the U.S. Senior National Championships and earned a silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. After retiring from competition, Burgener worked as a strength and conditioning coach and has been active in promoting weightlifting within both military and civilian communities.
