Carousel (Russian: Карусель) is a Russian state-owned children's television channel operated by the All‑Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK). The channel was launched on 1 June 1990 as a program block on the Soviet Union's national television network and became an independent channel on 1 January 2002.
