Mara Carfagna (born Maria Rosaria Carfagna on December 18, 1975, in Salerno, Italy) is an Italian politician who has served in various significant roles within the Italian government. Before entering politics, Carfagna had a career as a model and television presenter.

She began her political career as a member of the Forza Italia party (later renamed The People of Freedom and then re-established as Forza Italia). She was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italian Parliament, in 2006, and has been re-elected in subsequent elections.
