The Canton of Valence‑3 (French: canton de Valence‑3) is an administrative subdivision of the Drôme department in the Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes region of southeastern France.

The canton was created as part of the nationwide French canton reorganisation that was implemented in March 2015, pursuant to the decree n° 2014‑191 of 20 February 2014 which redrew the canton boundaries throughout the department.
Seat
Its administrative centre (chef‑lieu) is located in the city of Valence, which is also the prefecture of the Drôme department.
Territorial composition
The canton comprises a portion of the commune of Valence itself. Unlike some rural cantons, it does not include additional independent communes; its limits are defined by the intra‑municipal boundaries that separate Valence‑3 from the adjacent cantons of Valence‑1, Valence‑2, and Valence‑4.
