Cameron Jefferson (born December 13, 1991) is a former American [[American football|football]] [[offensive tackle]] who played for the [[Toronto Argonauts]] of the [[Canadian Football League]] (CFL) and was a member of several [[National Football League]] (NFL) practice squads.
Early life
Jefferson was born in Houston, Texas. He attended [[Memorial High School (Houston, Texas)|Memorial High School]] in Houston, where he played high school football.College career
Jefferson began his college career at the [[University of Nevada, Las Vegas|University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)]], playing for the [[UNLV Rebels football|Rebels]] from 2010 to 2012. He later transferred to the [[University of Arkansas]], where he played for the [[Arkansas Razorbacks football|Arkansas Razorbacks]] for his final two seasons in 2013 and 2014.Professional career
National Football League
After going undrafted in the [[2015 NFL Draft]], Jefferson signed with the [[Denver Broncos]] as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2015. He was waived by the Broncos on August 30, 2015, prior to the start of the regular season.Jefferson then had stints on the practice squads of the [[Chicago Bears]] in 2015, the [[Washington Redskins]] (now Washington Commanders) in 2016, and the [[Buffalo Bills]] in 2017. While he signed with these teams, he did not appear in any regular season NFL games.
Canadian Football League
In 2018, Jefferson signed with the [[Toronto Argonauts]] of the CFL. He played in 12 games during the 2018 season and 14 games in the 2019 season, primarily at offensive tackle. He announced his retirement from professional football after the 2019 season.References
