Cameron Cullen

Cameron Cullen (born 24 September 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer. He primarily plays as a five-eighth or halfback, and has also played at hooker. Cullen has featured professionally for clubs in the National Rugby League (NRL) and has had a significant career in the Queensland Cup, one of Australia's premier state-level competitions.

Early Life and Junior Career

Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Cullen began his rugby league journey playing for local junior clubs. He notably progressed through the ranks of the Wynnum Manly Seagulls junior system, demonstrating early promise that led him towards a professional career.

Senior Career

Cullen made his National Rugby League (NRL) debut for the Gold Coast Titans in 2016. Although his NRL appearances were limited, he established himself as a highly regarded and consistent performer in the Queensland Cup.

He spent significant periods with several Queensland Cup clubs throughout his career, including the Redcliffe Dolphins, Townsville Blackhawks, Wynnum Manly Seagulls, and Sunshine Coast Falcons. A notable highlight of his career was winning the Queensland Cup premiership with the Redcliffe Dolphins in 2018, where he played a pivotal role in their success as a key playmaker. Cullen also earned representative honours, being selected for the Queensland Residents team, which comprises the best players from the Queensland Cup who are not contracted to NRL clubs.

Cullen is known for his astute game management, strong kicking game, and ability to create opportunities for his teammates, making him a respected and influential player at the state league level.
