Callambulyx kitchingi is a species of moth in the family Sphingidae (hawk moths). It was first described by the entomologist Jean-Marie Cadiou in 1996. The species is known from China, with the type locality recorded as Kuatun (approximately 10 km north-northeast of Shaowu) in Fujian Province.

Description and Identification The species is morphologically similar to other members of the genus Callambulyx. Diagnostic features include the shape of the antemedial line on the forewing upperside, as well as differences in the male genitalia, which distinguish it from related species such as Callambulyx schintlmeisteri.
Distribution Callambulyx kitchingi is recorded from China, specifically from Fujian Province and Hubei Province (Daba Shan, Songluohe area).
Etymology The specific epithet kitchingi honors Ian J. Kitching, a prominent British entomologist and specialist in Sphingidae taxonomy.
