Hüseyin Cahit Ortaç (1908, Thessaloniki – 13 December 1980) was a Turkish politician and civil servant. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University (Mülkiye Mektebi).
He began his career as a civil servant in Dalaman and Istanbul, and subsequently served as a district governor (kaymakam) in Alucra, Sürmene, Kargı, and Mustafakemalpaşa. He later held the position of provincial governor in Hakkâri (1949–1950), Kırklareli (1950–1951), and Bursa (1951–1954).
In addition to his administrative roles, Ortaç served as an inspector for the Ministry of the Interior, a department head at the General Directorate of Security, and the General Director of Local Administrations. He was also a member of the Council of State (Danıştay) and later served in the Senate of the Republic (Cumhuriyet Senatosu) in Turkey.
