CHSN-FM, branded on-air as "100.5 The Hawk", is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 100.5 MHz (megahertz) on the FM band in Saint John, New Brunswick. Owned by Stingray Group, the station broadcasts a classic rock format. Its studios are located on Union Street in Saint John, while its transmitter is situated on Kelly Road within the city limits.

History CHSN-FM officially launched on August 30, 2004. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) had granted approval to Newcap Radio (now Stingray Group) to operate the station, intended to serve the Saint John market with a classic rock musical offering. The station quickly established itself as a prominent rock music outlet in the region. In 2018, Newcap Radio was acquired by Stingray Group, a major Canadian multimedia company, which subsequently assumed ownership and operation of CHSN-FM and its sister stations.

Programming "100.5 The Hawk" primarily features classic rock music, encompassing popular artists and tracks from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, with some selections from the early 1990s. The station targets an adult demographic and supplements its musical programming with local news updates, weather forecasts, traffic reports, and community event information relevant to the Saint John area.

Ownership The station is currently owned and operated by Stingray Group, a Canadian company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. Stingray Group owns a diverse portfolio of radio stations across Canada, in addition to various music and video channels, and digital media platforms. Prior to the 2018 acquisition, CHSN-FM was part of the Newcap Radio network.
