Club Deportivo Villanueva was a Spanish association‑football club based in Villanueva de Córdoba, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. The club was founded in 1951 and operated until its dissolution in June 2009.

The team played its home matches at Estadio San Miguel, a municipal stadium with a capacity of approximately 4,500 spectators.
Competitive history
For most of its existence the club competed in the regional leagues of Andalusia. In 1999, after nearly five decades at the regional level, Villanueva achieved promotion to the Tercera División (the fourth tier of Spanish football). Following two unsuccessful promotion playoff attempts, the club finished the 2004–05 season as one of the best teams in its group and secured promotion to the Segunda División B (the third tier) for the first time. Villanueva remained in the third division for two seasons, finishing 18th in 2006–07 and being relegated back to the Tercera División.
Final years and dissolution
During the 2008–09 season the club failed to appear for two scheduled matches, resulting in the loss of its competition berth. Consequently, Villanueva was administratively placed in the Primera Andaluza, a lower regional division. In July 2009 the club was formally dissolved due to accumulated debts. After dissolution, Atlético Villanueva became the principal football representative of the city.
Legacy
Although CD Villanueva no longer exists, its history reflects the typical trajectory of many small-town Spanish clubs that rise through regional leagues, briefly compete at national levels, and ultimately face financial challenges. The Estadio San Miguel continues to serve as a venue for local football activities.
