Buddhaditya Mohanty

Buddhaditya Mohanty is an Indian actor who works in Odia (Ollywood) cinema and Indian television. He was born on 17 January 1978 in Cuttack, Odisha, India.

Early life and education

Mohanty completed his schooling at Stewart School in Cuttack and pursued higher education at Ravenshaw College. He later attended Delhi University. He comes from a family with notable connections to the Odia film industry: his maternal aunt is actress Mahasweta Ray, another aunt is actress Aparajita Mohanty, and his uncle was veteran actor Uttam Mohanty. His cousin is actor Babushan Mohanty.

Acting career

Mohanty began his acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in both films and television serials. He has worked in the Odia film industry as well as in Hindi-language television productions based in Mumbai.
