Bryan Emmett Clark (born March 14, 1964) is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name Adam Bomb and with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under the ring name Wrath. He also achieved success as one half of the tag team Kronik with Brian Adams, winning the WCW World Tag Team Championship twice and the All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) World Tag Team Championship once.
Early Career Clark began his professional wrestling career in 1989. After a brief stint as "The Nightstalker" in WCW's early 1990s programming, he joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1993.
World Wrestling Federation (1993–1995) In the WWF, Clark debuted as Adam Bomb, a powerful, nuclear-themed character from Three Mile Island, managed by Harvey Wippleman. He was portrayed as a destructive force, often wearing bright green contact lenses. Bomb participated in several major pay-per-views, including WrestleMania X and Survivor Series. He eventually turned face, parting ways with Wippleman and later having Johnny Polo (later Raven) as his manager. He feuded with various mid-card wrestlers before departing the company in 1995.
World Championship Wrestling (1997–2001) Clark returned to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1997, initially as Wrath, a martial arts-themed powerhouse. He was introduced as part of the "Blood Runs Cold" storyline, aligned with James Vandenberg and Mortis (Chris Kanyon), and later feuded with Glacier. After the "Blood Runs Cold" angle was dropped, Wrath went on an undefeated streak as a singles competitor, utilizing a pumphandle slam he called the "Meltdown." His streak ended in 1999 due to injury.
Upon his return, Wrath was rebranded as Bryan Clark, forming the tag team Kronik with Brian Adams (who had previously wrestled as Crush in the WWF). Kronik quickly became one of the top tag teams in WCW, known for their powerful brawling style. They captured the WCW World Tag Team Championship twice, feuding with teams like the Mamalukes, The Harris Brothers, and The Natural Born Thrillers. Kronik was also briefly part of the New Blood faction.
World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (2001) When WCW was purchased by the WWF in 2001, Clark and Adams were among the wrestlers whose contracts were picked up. Kronik debuted in the WWF during the Invasion storyline, aligned with the WCW/ECW Alliance. They had a brief feud with The Undertaker and Kane, but their run was short-lived, and they were released from their contracts later that year.
All Japan Pro Wrestling (2001–2003) After their release from the WWF, Clark and Adams continued to team as Kronik in All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). They found significant success in Japan, quickly winning the AJPW World Tag Team Championship in November 2001, holding the titles for over two months. They remained a dominant force in the AJPW tag team division until Adams's health issues led to their departure in 2003, effectively ending Clark's active wrestling career.
