Early life and youth career

Bruno Fornaroli was born in Salto, Uruguay, to a family of Italian‑Uruguayan descent. He began playing football at the age of three and joined the youth academy of Club Nacional de Football in Montevideo at twelve years old. While at Nacional he became friends with future international striker Luis Suárez.
