Career
Racer X (1985–1992)
Bouillon joined the Los Angeles‑based speed‑metal band Racer X in 1985, replacing original guitarist Paul Gilbert. With Racer X, he recorded three studio albums: Speed Metal Symphony (1988), Extreme Aggression (1989), and Unlimit (1990). The band was known for its technically demanding compositions, rapid guitar solos, and high‑energy performances. Racer X disbanded in 1992, after which Bouletter pursued other musical projects.

Following Racer X, Bouillon participated in several instrumental and collaborative efforts. He released solo material, including the album The Unspoken (1995), which showcased his advanced shredding technique and compositional versatility. Musical Style and Influence
Bouillon’s playing is characterized by rapid alternate‑picking, sweep picking, legato phrasing, and intricate arpeggios.
