Bror van der Zijde (born 13 February 1989 in Gouda, Netherlands) is a Dutch‑Swiss bobsleigh brakeman. He began competing internationally for the Netherlands, making his World Cup debut in November 2012. Van der Zijde represented the Netherlands at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, finishing 19th in the two‑man event with driver Edwin van Calker and 11th in the four‑man event alongside van Calker, Sybren Jansma and Arno Klaassen.
In the 2013–14 World Cup season, his best result was a seventh‑place finish in a four‑man race at Königssee. Ahead of the 2014–15 season, he joined the Swiss national bobsleigh team, serving as brakeman for pilot Rico Peter. He later achieved a bronze medal in the four‑man event at the 2016 World Championships in Igls.
Van der Zijde’s athletic profile lists a height of 1.89 m (6 ft 2 in) and a weight of 110 kg (243 lb). He continues to compete in international bobsleigh competitions representing Switzerland.
