Branko Pauljević

Branko Pauljević (born 27 May 1975) is a Serbian journalist, writer, translator, and musician. He is most prominently known for his contributions to cultural and music journalism in Serbia, having written for the daily newspaper Politika, the magazine Bazar, and other media outlets.

Pauljević has authored several books, including collections of essays and reports on contemporary Serbian culture and music. Among his notable works are Digitalna generacija (2010), a study of the impact of digital technologies on youth culture, and Makedonski zvuk (2014), a travelogue documenting the music scenes of the Balkans.

In addition to his written work, Pauljević is the frontman and lead vocalist of the indie-rock group Branko Pauljević & The Robotic Orchestra, which was active in the Serbian alternative music scene during the 2000s. The band released the album Mišljenje (2008), which received positive reviews in regional music press.

Pauljević has also worked as a literary translator, rendering works of English‑language authors into Serbian, and has participated in various literary festivals and cultural panels across the former Yugoslav republics.

His career reflects a multidisciplinary engagement with contemporary Serbian cultural production, encompassing journalism, literature, translation, and music.
