Bram van den Berg

Bram van den Berg (born 1982) is a Dutch drummer best known as a member of the pop-rock band Krezip and for his temporary role as the drummer for the Irish rock band U2.

Van den Berg received his musical education at the Fontys Rockacademie in Tilburg, Netherlands. In 2004, he joined the established Dutch band Krezip, succeeding the group's original drummer, Thijs Romeijn. He remained with the band through their period of major commercial success in the Netherlands and Belgium until their initial disbandment in 2009. Following the group's dissolution, Van den Berg performed with other musical acts, including Drive Like Maria and One in a Million. He rejoined Krezip when the band officially reunited in 2019.

In February 2023, Van den Berg received significant international media attention when U2 announced that he would perform during their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, titled "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere." He was selected to fill the position of founding drummer Larry Mullen Jr., who was on a hiatus from live performance to undergo and recover from surgery. Van den Berg performed with the group throughout the residency, which spanned from September 2023 to March 2024. He is the first drummer to perform a full concert residency with U2 in place of Mullen.
