Brad Keselowski

Brad Keselowski (born February 12, 1984) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 6 Ford Mustang for RFK Racing, which he also co-owns. Keselowski is a two-time NASCAR champion, having won the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series (now Xfinity Series) championship and the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (now Cup Series) championship.

Early Life and Career

Born in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Keselowski comes from a prominent racing family. His father, Bob Keselowski, and uncle, Ron Keselowski, were also NASCAR drivers. Brad began his racing career in stock cars at a young age, competing in local and regional series before making his national series debut.

NASCAR Career

Truck Series

Keselowski made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut in 2004. He competed part-time in the series for several years, earning a victory at Memphis Motorsports Park in 2008 while driving for Germain Racing.

Xfinity Series (Nationwide Series)

Keselowski's career gained significant momentum in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He joined JR Motorsports in 2007 and quickly established himself as a top contender. In 2010, driving the No. 22 Dodge for Team Penske, he clinched the Nationwide Series championship, securing six wins during the season. He earned a total of 39 Xfinity Series victories throughout his career.

Cup Series

Keselowski made his Cup Series debut in 2008 with Hendrick Motorsports.

  • Team Penske (2010–2021): He moved to Team Penske full-time in the Cup Series in 2010, driving the No. 2 Dodge (later Ford). In 2012, Keselowski had a breakout season, winning three races and ultimately securing the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship, defeating five-time champion Jimmie Johnson. This marked the first Cup Series championship for Team Penske. He continued to be a consistent front-runner for Penske, accumulating 34 Cup Series victories and making it to the Championship 4 on multiple occasions.
  • RFK Racing (2022–Present): In 2022, Keselowski made a significant move, leaving Team Penske to join Roush Fenway Racing (rebranded as RFK Racing) as a driver and co-owner. He drives the No. 6 Ford Mustang and plays an active role in the team's operational and strategic decisions. He earned his first win with RFK Racing at the 2024 Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.

Team Ownership
