Boyet Fernandez

Arnulfo "Boyet" Fernandez is a Filipino professional basketball coach. He is widely recognized for his successful coaching career across various levels of Philippine basketball, including collegiate leagues, developmental leagues, and the professional Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Fernandez gained significant prominence in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as the head coach of the San Beda Red Lions. During his multiple stints with the team, he led San Beda to numerous NCAA championships, notably securing back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014, and again in 2017 and 2018. His leadership established San Beda as a dominant force in collegiate basketball.

Beyond the collegiate ranks, Fernandez also achieved considerable success in the PBA Developmental League (PBA D-League). He coached the NLEX Road Warriors to multiple championships, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in the league. Later, he also led the Cignal HD Hawkeyes to a PBA D-League title.

His performance in the developmental and collegiate circuits paved his way into the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He has served as head coach for several PBA teams, including the NLEX Road Warriors, Blackwater Elite, and Phoenix Fuel Masters. Throughout his career, Fernandez has been known for his tactical acumen and his ability to develop players, contributing significantly to the landscape of Philippine basketball coaching.
