Bouchra Khalili (born 1975) is a German visual artist of Moroccan origin. She works primarily with video, installation, and performance, exploring themes of migration, borders, memory, and feminist politics.
Early life and education
Khalili was born in Tetouan, Morocco. She later relocated to Germany, where she pursued higher education in the arts. She studied at the Kunstakademie Münster, completing her studies in 2007.
