Botafogo Futebol Clube, commonly known as Botafogo-RO, is a Brazilian football club based in the city of Cacoal, Rondônia. Founded on February 12, 1989, the club's colors are black and white.
The club primarily competes in the Campeonato Rondoniense, the state football league of Rondônia. Its home stadium is the Estádio Aglair Tonelli Nogueira.
Botafogo-RO gained national recognition in 1990 when it qualified for and competed in the Copa do Brasil, Brazil's national knockout cup competition. This qualification occurred after the club finished as runner-up in the 1989 Campeonato Rondoniense, with the champions declining their spot in the national tournament.
