Career
Kirk began his senior career with Albion Rovers in the Scottish Football League. He then moved to Airdrieonians, where he spent several seasons, becoming a regular in the team. His performances attracted attention, and he subsequently signed for Motherwell.
After a period with Motherwell, Kirk transferred to Hamilton Academical. He finished his professional career back at Albion Rovers.
