Blacklodge is a French industrial black metal band founded in 1998 in Grenoble by musician Saint Vincent. The group's name is derived from the fictional “Black Lodge” featured in David Lynch’s television series Twin Peaks.

History
Early Years (1998–2005)
Saint Vincent created Blacklodge as a solo project, citing influences such as Norwegian black metal pioneers Mysticum and the avant‑garde Norwegian band Dodheimsgard. The lineup expanded with the addition of guitarist Silence and bassist Diam’s. Their debut live performance was an opening slot for Finnish black metal band Impaled Nazarene in Grenoble. In 2004, the band toured with Italian industrial metal group Aborym and the French black metal act Corpus Christii.
Login:Satan (2003) and Solarkult (2005–2010)
The first official release, the demo Login:Satan (2003), was issued through Blazing Productions. Blacklodge’s debut full‑length album, Solarkult (2006), was recorded at Necromorbus Studio with Tore Stjerna and released via the French underground label End All Life. During this period, guitarist Silence departed (2007) and was replaced by guitarist Narcotic. The band continued touring Europe, supporting acts such as Horna and Vorkreist, and issued a split release with Austrian band Abigor. Their third album, T/ME (2010), completed a conceptual “initiation” series.
Machination Era (2012–present)
In 2012 Blacklodge signed with the international metal label Season of Mist and released Machination, the fourth installment in their “initiation” concept series. The lineup at this time comprised Saint Vincent (vocals, guitar, programming), AcidJess (bass), and Narcotic (guitar). Subsequent releases have continued to blend harsh black metal instrumentation with synth‑driven industrial textures.
