Bjørn Skagestad

Early Life and Education

Bjørn Skagestad was born in Norway in 1950. He pursued his education in acting, graduating from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre (Statens teaterhøgskole) in 1973.

Career

Upon graduating, Skagestad quickly established himself as a versatile actor. He spent a significant part of his early career at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen before joining the ensemble of the National Theatre (Nationaltheatret) in Oslo, where he became one of its central actors.

Skagestad has a wide range of stage credits, appearing in classical and contemporary plays.
