Genera and Species
The family currently includes a single recognized genus, Beutenbergia, whose type species is Beutenbergia cavernae. This species was first isolated from a limestone cave in Korea and described in 2003. No additional genera have been validly published under this family as of the latest taxonomic revisions.

Significance
