Benndale, Mississippi

Benndale is an unincorporated community located in George County, Mississippi, United States. It is situated in the western portion of the county, approximately 15 miles west of the city of Lucedale, which serves as the county seat.

The community is geographically positioned at the junction of Mississippi Highway 26 and Mississippi Highway 57. It lies within the Pascagoula River Basin, a region characterized by its coastal plain topography and pine forests.

As an unincorporated area, Benndale does not possess a formal municipal government or defined corporate limits. Governance and public services are provided by the George County Board of Supervisors. The community is served by the George County School District.

Historically, the economy of the surrounding region has been rooted in timber production and agriculture. Benndale serves primarily as a rural residential and agricultural hub.
